The PAL 12U AAA Major JR Islanders team will be raising money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Light The Night Walk to help support the research of blood cancer treatments that save lives.
All players will be walking this Saturday October 20th at Eisenhower Park to help raise awareness.
Without your efforts LLS could not fund the research of such treatments as targeted therapies that zero in on cancer cells and kill them or immunotherapy drugs that use a patient’s own immune system to kill cancer.
Please join our team’s effort today by registering to walk or by making a donation. Your participation in the Light The Night Walk will save lives not someday, but today.
The PAL 12U AA Sound Tigers team will be collecting used sporting equipment at Iceworks in Syosset the entire month of October. Please help them collect as much as possible to donate to 2nd Chance Sports.
