14U Major Undefeated in NH

The PAL Jr Islanders 14U AAA Major team won the President’s Day Tournament at Tri Town Arena in Hooksett, NH. The team went undefeated, compiling an overall record of 5-0-1. The team was the #1 seed in their division, qualifying for the semi-final game vs NJ Hitmen. They defeated the Hitmen 5-0 to make it the championship game. In that game, they played the St. John’s Sea Dogs, who they had tied during the divisional games. The game was scoreless through regulation and went to overtime. In OT it was PAL’s Nicholas Bernardo scoring to give the team the 1-0 win and the tournament championship! PAL’s goaltender, Mattingly Siegel, had shutouts in the semi-final and championship games and was named MVP! Congratulations to the players and coaching staff on a great job!

MEHL Champions

The 12U AA PAL-Milner team won the MEHL PeeWee Major Gold Division Championship this weekend with two hard fought playoff overtime victories. The first was vs the Palisades Predators where the game was tied at 3 after regulation; and an overtime goal by Brian DeLumen sealed the victory. In the Championship game vs the Pelham Penguins, both teams battled to a 4-4 tie at the end of regulation. This game would require two overtime periods. Devyn Quinones broke the tie in the second overtime period to secure the Championship. Congratulations to all the players and coaching staff on a job well done.
