In addition to creating good hockey players, PAL Hockey strives to help our players become good citizens. Toward that end our organization has all of our teams select a community service project for all their players to participate in. Through doing for others, our players learn valuable life lessons that will serve them well in their years to come. See below for a description of each team's project for the 2017-2018 season as well as links to pictures.

8U GOLD AAA - The 8U Gold team fundraiser this year was to raise money for Hockey Fights Cancer. The boys wrote emails, asked family and friends, and even spent weekends together standing outside of local stores to raise money for their cause.  All together the boys raised $4,150.  Of that $3,500 was matched by Cigna! …PHOTO

16U AA - The parents and players of 16UAA Junior Islanders chose to help the victims of Hurricane Maria that destroyed Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico was in a state of crisis, and it desperately needed all the help it can get. Therefore, our group collected toiletries and essentials to send to help with relief efforts. Such personal care kits included soaps, toothpaste, toothbrushes, wipes, hand sanitizer, shampoo, conditioner, etc. It was our pleasure to donate to such a worthy cause.
